Normatec compression therapy in San Antonio.

Sleeves on your legs, a slow squeeze travelling from your feet up, and a stretch of time where you cannot do anything else.

Legs up An amenity, not treatment Start My Comeback

What It Is

Legs up. Sleeves on.

Normatec is a set of inflatable sleeves that zip over your legs. Once they start, they fill and release in a pattern that works from your feet toward your hips, over and over.

It feels like a slow, firm squeeze moving up the leg. You sit back, you cannot get up, and there is nothing to do but sit there. For a lot of people that is the actual appeal. It is an amenity in our recovery room, not a treatment we prescribe.

You have not sat still in a room without a phone in your hand for months. The sleeves take that decision away from you.

Questions, Answered

Normatec, honestly.

It is an amenity, and we are not going to claim more than that. Compression sleeves are not the reason you get better here. Your evaluation and your plan are. The chair is in the recovery room because people use it every week and ask for it by name.

A firm squeeze that starts at your feet and works its way up, then releases, then starts again. It is not painful, and you can stop it whenever you want. If you have a circulation condition, a blood clot history, or any medical reason to be careful with compression, ask your physician before you use it.

Recovery room amenities are not billed as physical therapy. Ask a Client Success Coordinator how access works, or call us at (210) 750-9004 and we will explain the whole thing before you book anything.
