Massage therapy in San Antonio.

Soft tissue work for the weeks when everything is tight and nothing is broken. It sits alongside your plan, not instead of it.

What It Is

Support, not the plan.

Massage therapy is hands-on soft tissue work across a whole region: long strokes, sustained pressure, and slow work through muscle that has been holding tension for weeks.

It is broad by design. Where physical therapy aims at one tested problem, massage covers the whole neighborhood around it. That is why the two sit well in the same week, and why one is not a substitute for the other.

You carry a lot, most of it for other people. Some weeks the honest answer is that your back is tired, not injured.

What It Helps

When massage is the right call.

Tension you keep ignoring does not stay tension. It changes how you move, and how you move is what eventually hurts.

What A Session Looks Like

What a visit is like.

1

You say where it is holding.

2

Slow, sustained work through the region.

3

You get up, and you move again.

Why People Book It

Four reasons it earns a spot in the week.

A whole region that finally lets go.

Space between the hard rehab days.

An hour where nothing is asked of you.

A reset for a body that carries a lot.

Questions, Answered

Massage therapy, no mystery.

No. Physical therapy is an evaluation, a diagnosis and a plan with an endpoint, delivered one-on-one by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Massage is soft tissue work across a region. If something specific is wrong, start with the evaluation and let massage support it.

On its own, usually not. Massage is very good at tension and very poor at cause. If the same spot tightens every single week, something upstream is asking it to, and finding that is what a cause-first evaluation is for. Call us at (210) 750-9004 and we will tell you honestly which one you need first.

Coverage for massage varies and it is not billed the way a physical therapy visit is. On the physical therapy side we are a preferred out-of-network provider, we are not contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield, and we do not accept Medicare patients. We verify your exact benefits before your first visit and that check has no extra charge.
