We test the spine, level by level.
One quick, specific input to a spinal segment that stopped moving. Trained hands, a tested reason, no theatrics.
What It Is
Spinal manipulation is a fast, small, precisely aimed thrust to one segment of your spine. Sometimes you hear a pop. That sound is gas moving inside the joint, not a bone going back where it belongs.
It is done by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who tested the segment first and can tell you why that level and not the one that hurts. Dr. McAnelly, Dr. Hibner and Dr. Schrank are all certified in spinal manipulation. It belongs to the Pain phase, and it is never the whole plan.
You have been putting up with this since a job, a kid or a car changed how your back works. Nobody has put a hand on it and told you why.
Tested first, never routine
What It Helps
A segment that stops moving never announces it. The levels above and below take the extra work, and those are usually the ones that start hurting.
What A Session Looks Like
1
We test the spine, level by level.
2
One quick input, then we recheck.
3
You load it so it holds.
Why It Works
A segment that moves, checked before and after.
Less guarding through the whole region.
A tested reason for the level we chose.
Exercises that finally hold the change.

Questions, Answered
The technique overlaps. The setting does not. There is no chiropractor here. Spinal manipulation is performed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is certified in it, inside a plan that also includes motion and strength work, so you are not back next week for the same segment.
We screen before we ever manipulate, and if the exam says no, we do something else. The pop is gas releasing inside the joint capsule, the same sound as cracking a knuckle. Nothing goes out of place and nothing goes back into place. What changes is how freely that segment moves.
