Our commitment

Revival Performance Physical Therapy is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.

We are actively working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and widely used as the benchmark under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we've done

  • Added a skip-to-content link, clear landmark regions, and a single, logical heading structure on every page
  • Wrote meaningful alternative text for informative images, and hid purely decorative images and icons from assistive technology
  • Labeled every form field, associated error messages with their fields, and made sure every form can be completed and submitted using only a keyboard
  • Checked text and interactive elements against WCAG's color contrast requirements, and strengthened focus indicators so keyboard users can always see where they are
  • Made sure animations and auto-advancing content (like our review carousel) can be paused, and that motion is reduced automatically for visitors whose systems request it
  • Verified the site reflows without horizontal scrolling at mobile widths and at high zoom levels
  • Tested keyboard-only navigation through both our booking flow and our contact and referral forms

Known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. A few things on this site are outside our direct control or still being improved:

  • Our live Google reviews widget and our patient portal (PtEverywhere) are provided by third-party companies. We've asked that they meet accessibility standards, but we cannot directly control or guarantee the accessibility of their code.
  • The downloadable referral pad is currently provided as both a PDF and an editable Word document; the PDF version is not yet fully tagged for screen readers. If you need it in an accessible format, contact us below and we will send one directly.
  • Older blog content may not yet meet every guideline. We are reviewing it on a rolling basis.

We review this site for accessibility on an ongoing basis as content and features change, not just once before launch.
