Red light therapy in San Antonio.

Panels of red and near-infrared light in the recovery room, and a quiet stretch of time people actually put on the calendar.

What It Is

Light, a room, and nothing asked of you.

Red light therapy is exactly what it sounds like. You sit or stand in front of panels that put out red and near-infrared light. It is warm, it is bright, and you do not feel anything happening.

We will be straight with you about what this is. It is an amenity in our recovery room, not a treatment we prescribe, and we are not going to tell you it heals anything. Your plan with a Doctor of Physical Therapy is the part that changes your shoulder. This is what is here when the plan is done for the day.

You are the person who books everyone else’s appointments. Sitting in a quiet room with nothing asked of you is not indulgent.

Questions, Answered

Red light therapy, honestly.

It is an amenity, and we are not going to dress it up as medicine. Red light therapy is not the reason you get better here. Your evaluation and your plan are. The panels sit in the recovery room because people use them every week and like having them, and that is the honest reason we have them.

We are not going to make a health claim we cannot stand behind. What we can tell you is what it is: red and near-infrared light, a warm and quiet room, and a stretch of time where nothing is asked of you. The part of your care doing the actual work is your plan with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Recovery room amenities are not billed as physical therapy. Ask a Client Success Coordinator how access works, or call us at (210) 750-9004 and we will explain the whole thing before you book anything.
