Cupping therapy in San Antonio.

Suction that lifts tissue instead of pressing on it, for the area that stays stubborn after everything else.

Decompression, not pressure The marks fade Start My Comeback

What It Is

Pressure, in reverse.

Almost everything done to a tight muscle pushes down. Cupping does the opposite. A cup creates suction, lifts the skin and the tissue underneath it, and holds that decompression in place.

Sometimes the cups sit still. Sometimes they glide along the muscle while the tissue is drawn upward. Sessions are short, the area is small, and it is usually one region at a time rather than a whole body.

You are the kind of person who tries everything before asking for help. This is usually the thing you have not tried.

What It Helps

Where cupping fits.

Tissue that stays stuck changes how you move long before it changes how you feel.

Questions, Answered

Cupping, no mystery.

The circles are not bruises and they are not painful. They are a surface response to suction and they fade on their own. A darker mark tells us something about the tissue, not about how hard anybody worked. If an area is somewhere you cannot cover, we tell you before we cup it.

A firm, steady pull. It is strange for about a minute, and then it is oddly relieving. Nothing gets pressed into a sore spot, which is exactly why people ask for it when pressure has stopped helping them.

By itself, no, and we would rather say that plainly. Cupping is soft tissue work that sits alongside a plan. If the same area keeps locking up, the reason is upstream, and a cause-first evaluation is what finds it. Call us at (210) 750-9004 and we will point you at the right starting place.
