Physical Therapist
Dr. Evan Hoffart
PT, DPT, CSCS. He tore his ACL in high school football and found out recovery was possible. Now he does that for other people.
What it is like to be treated by Evan
Evan is calm and he is patient, and he will still push you.
That combination matters more than it sounds. Most people arrive scared of the movement that hurt them. Evan makes the first rep feel safe, then keeps adding until you forget you were nervous.
He is a strength coach as well as a physical therapist, so the plan does not stop at pain free. It ends with you back under the bar, back on the court, back on the road.
A patient who came in after a CrossFit knee injury wrote:
“From the very first session, Evan and the team made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and created a personalized plan tailored to my recovery goals. They are very knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, pushing me just enough to get me back into the gym.”

How he got here
Evan was born and raised in Houston, the third of five kids. He played high school football, though basketball is the real love. Texans, Rockets, Duke.
Then he tore his ACL playing football. Rehab showed him something he had not expected: there is a road back from a serious injury, and somebody gets to build it.
He studied Exercise and Sports Science at Texas State University, then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Hardin-Simmons University, where he also went on a medical mission trip to Africa with classmates and professors.
He met his wife during a clinical rotation. Outside the clinic it is family, church, lifting, and a city basketball league.
