Dr. Evan Hoffart

Evan was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and is the third of five children. He played high school football, but his true passion is basketball. His favorite sports teams are the Houston Texans, the Houston Rockets, and Duke basketball. Evan was introduced to physical therapy after tearing his ACL in high school while playing football. That experience showed him that there is hope for recovery after major injuries, sparking his interest in the field. He attended Texas State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Evan went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University, where he played on several intramural sports teams and participated in a medical mission trip to Africa with his classmates and professors. Evan met his wife during one of his clinical rotations in physical therapy school. They recently welcomed their first son in February 2025. In his free time, Evan enjoys spending time with friends and family, serving at church, lifting weights, and playing in a city basketball league.
